We consider Choral Speaking to be work spoken by a choir of voices (probably more than 8) with soloists and small groups taking lines and parts. A substantial amount of the work will be performed in unison and this controlled speaking in chorus is an important part of the skill.

Group Verse Speaking is generally performed by smaller groups (less than 8). Most of the speaking is individual.

Both forms may be dramatised or simply spoken according to the needs of the poem.
